Also known as Blackfish, the Tautog is a member of the wrasse family. Can be found in rocky areas and around wrecks. We catch them with green crabs but they will gladly hit a fresh chunk of mackerel. The best times for big fish is early spring or fall. Great eating. 3-6lbs.
